Ed Novak has had many professional lives including book publishing, consulting, higher education, the arts, and government regulatory oversight. He has written and published extensively on behalf of others; the novel “Confessions of a Lapsed Altar Boy” is his first writing on his own behalf.
He was born and baptized in southern California and raised in the San Francisco suburbs, where he served as an altar boy. He has lived in Washington DC, Chicago, New York, two cities in Pennsylvania, Harrisburg and Camp Hill. He currently resides in Greenbelt, Maryland, and Tucson, Arizona.
His avocation is the study of disintermediation. He is a graduate of two Jesuit institutions of learning: Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, California, and Georgetown University, where he was awarded the Morris Historical Medal.
